Hartebeespoort Dam

I am privileged to now live in these beautiful surroundings. I am a 5th generation person living in the Magliesberg mountains. My family arrived in the Rustenburg area at the turn of the 20th century and it is a honour for me to live again in these beautiful surroundings.
My mom has given me a book written about The Magliesberg by Vincent Carruthers.
This is a statement I picked up in the forward of the book.

" It is an interesting facet of human behaviour that it was to the mountains we used to flee when there was enough trouble and, today, it is to the mountains we retreat from the tensions we have created in the valleys"
