Grown Together- Friends Forever

My latest grandchildren were born this week. To be exact at 10h53 and 10h54 on Wednesday 29th February 2012. They both weighed in just over 2,8 kg and are beautiful, perfect miracles.Their names are Chloe Jesse and Emma Sadie Smith.

I made a decision before my grandchildren were born that I would write about each birth and make sure that they would have this as part of their keepsake from Granny Lynda. More important for me was to pray for them before and during the birth so that I could share with them what God shared with me on the day of their birth. I did this for Daniel and Naomi and now the turn of these precious girls.

On Wednesday morning as I was praying, I was led to Romans 8. This chapter of the bible is filled with God's promises. It teaches us about faith and hope and the gift of The Holy Spirit in our lives. It speaks about the love of the Father for His children and that with Him on our side, no-one can be against us.

The last paragraph states: 'In everything we have won more than a victory because of Christ who loves us. I am sure that nothing can separate us from God's love, not life or death, not angels or spirits, not the present or the future and not powers above or below. Nothing in all creation can separate us from God's love for us in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We have been blessed as a family with your entry into the world. May you Mom and Dad love you unconditionally and spend time building all the values into your lives that you deserve. I have no doubt that you have the best Mom and Dad in the whole world and that you will grow up to bring them twice as many blessings as mine have for me.

Twenty fingers, twenty toes, Plenty of work Heaven Knows, Four little arms to hold so tight, Four little cheeks to kiss goodnight

Sometimes when you pray for a miracle, you get two.

Thank you Lord for these sweet babies.
