For the least of mine

Today was my last day in Ratchaburi. Tomorrow I head back to BANGKOK before flying back on Tuesday night. This morning we headed off towards the Burmese border mountains about an hour away from Ratchaburi. There are some beautiful holiday resorts and day drives in the area. There are also a number of Karin settlements close to the border. Noiy and Bronwyn were going to meet with one of these communities to discuss building a toy and book library for the children. The Karin tribe from Burma is one of the most persecuted tribes in the world. I was reminded that any community of refugees anywhere in the world struggles with the same challenges. They lead a simple life in surrounding beauty, but the children do not get a chance at a decent education. The bible reminds us in Matthew 25 vs 40 " Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me" This week I witnessed a group of prisoners graduating from the first ever official prison DTS in YWAM worldwide, visited this community of Karin people today and prayed with a young ex-prisoner who has been given the opportunity to go and study for 6 months and join YWAM. This is truly walking the journey..... Noiy and Bronwyn, be blessed as you continue to bless " the least of mine"
